Hello IMBBians,
I recently picked up Coriander Strength range from Loreal Botanicals. I have already reviewed the shampoo and today’s review is all about the second step in the hair care regimen. Read on to know more about L’Oréal Botanicals Coriander Strength Cure Conditioning Balm.
Price:
$11.50 for 200ml
Product Description:
Botanicals Coriander Strength Cure Conditioning Balm is infused with a concoction of coriander, soya and coconut oils. The formula detangles lengths and strengthens the feel of fragile hair without weighing it down. Infused with a fresh, invigorating aroma. Carefully crafted for fragile hair.
How to use:
After cleansing hair with Botanicals Coriander Strength Cure Shampoo, apply onto wet hair and leave for 2 minutes. Comb hair with fingers before rinsing thoroughly. For more intense care replace with Botanicals Coriander Strength Cure Masque 1-2 times per week. Our fragile hair hero: apply a few drops of Botanicals Coriander Strength Potion through the lengths to protect hair from daily aggressions and leave it feeling reinforced.

My Experience with L’Oréal Botanicals Coriander Strength Cure Conditioning Balm:
The conditioning balm comes in a brown tube with a black flip cap. There is a green highlight on the top. There is some basic information on the back of the tube. The product is not sealed, so make sure that you pick the one from the farther end of the shelf. The tube packaging is travel-friendly and is a perfect companion for taking it along, if you do not mind the size.
The conditioner is white in color and is pretty thick compared to a regular conditioner. Like the name suggests, it is more of a balm. The smell is good but it is little overpowering and when compared to the shampoo, this has a little strong therapy like fragrance. However, the smell is fresh and lasts for a short while.
The product is very smooth and can be spread easily without any hassle. The conditioner has to be applied onto the lengths of the hair and then left on for 2 minutes and should be thoroughly washed. The product has the same benefits even if I use it as a mask. So, I use this in my shower. There is a mask from the same range, but I skipped it, as I already have an amazing hair mask! When washing off, you can see that your hair has softened instantly. A little product is more than enough to condition your hair. Sometimes, I have gone overboard with the conditioner but it hasn’t caused me any issues. The product is meant for fragile hair and is claimed to strengthen the hair. I haven’t noticed any benefits regarding this. The product makes hair manageable and reduces tangles but doesn’t eliminate it. I still need to follow up with a serum for smooth combing. The product contains a mix of coriander, soya and coconut oils which is said to be good for hair. The conditioner works the best when used with the shampoo and the potion. The conditioner doesn’t weigh down the hair nor does it make it look limp. It adds a little bounce to the hair and this is great for fine hair people like me. The product also retains the natural texture of the hair. The product adds a little shine and makes hair very soft and smooth. The conditioner makes the ends look very nourished. I have split ends and no matter how many times I get a haircut, they return and pop out in different directions and makes my hair ends look dry. But, when I use this conditioner it seals the ends and makes it look healthy and lively. The biggest plus point with this product for me is that it doesn’t make my scalp oily. The product doesn’t contain parabens, silicones or colorants and the results last long. I like the conditioner, but it is not a must buy as it is pretty expensive. Except for the no oily scalp, it has the same results like a regular conditioner.
