Skin type: combination, sensitive and acne prone
Hello everyone,
Today I am reviewing Watsons Jeju Hanrabong Extract Facial Mask. Read on to know more about this product.
Price and Quantity: 59 PHP or 80 INR approx. for 1 sheet
My Experience with Watsons Jeju Hanrabong Extract Facial Mask:
The sheet mask comes in a vibrant orange colored small plastic packet. The front side has citrus prints on it along with the brand’s tagline printed in white fonts. The entire product related information is printed at the back of the packet.
Each packet contains one sheet mask. The mask comes folded with a plastic sheet, which helps to apply the mask easily and prevents it from tearing apart during application. The sleek packaging is good for travelling. Overall, I could not find any flaw in the packaging.
The sheet mask is made up of a thin cotton cloth and the material is very delicate. Hence, it may tear while applying the sheet mask. The plastic sheet prevents the mask from tearing. To apply the mask, place the cloth side of the mask on your face and smoothen it on the skin removing any bubbles. Now, remove the plastic sheet and remove any bubbles. Then, leave the mask on for 20-30 minutes.
Make sure you do not remove the plastic layer before applying the mask else you would end up damaging the sheet mask if the mask gets folded. The mask is large enough to cover my entire face nicely. It has regular cutouts for the eyes, nose and lips, like other sheet masks. It adheres to the skin nicely and does not slip. The mask feels quite comfortable on the skin. The mask is deeply infused with the serum. The serum is kind of oil-based formulation.
Since it is a citrus variant it gives slight tingling sensation to the skin but thankfully it did not cause any skin allergies or rashes. The mask is absolutely mess-free and the serum does not drip from the mask at all. I prefer keeping it for 25-30 minutes to let the serum sink into the skin properly.
The mask is so moist that is does not really dry out completely in the meantime. The serum sinks into the skin well but the left out serum requires a little massaging to get absorbed by the skin properly. The mask has a refreshing citrus fragrance. The smell is slightly strong and may irritate people with sensitive noses. But, I love everything that smells fresh and citrusy. I kind of enjoy citrus fragrances, so I overall love the smell.
This is a brightening and moisturizing sheet mask. The mask moisturizes my skin nicely removing all the dryness. It provides a good amount of hydration to my skin but has a greasy formula that makes my skin oily. Though my skin looked brightened and glowing after use, the mask made my skin super oily. It broke me out slightly. So, this mask is not really suitable for combination to oily skinned beauties. But, for people with normal to dry skin, this mask is super amazing as it nourishes the dry skin well.
It made my skin nourished and plumped. It did not make my skin greasy at all. The mask softened my skin too. I usually apply sheet masks before bedtime and after using this sheet mask I woke up with a glowing and healthy skin.
