My Experience with Be A Bombshell Lip Stain Captivate:

Let’s begin with packaging of the product. The lip stain comes in a black-colored sketch pen type packaging. There is a sticker at the base of the sketch mentioning its shade name. The sketch has a normal black-colored cap that shuts pretty nicely making an audible click sound. This makes it good for carrying around. Overall, the packaging is nice and travel friendly.

“Captivate” is a beautiful fuchsia pink shade. The shade is pretty and mixes with natural color of the lips giving a nice pink hue to the lips. This is a pretty shade for everyday use. The color is wearable and good for people who do not like wearing bold lip colors. This shade will flatter all skin tones very well.

There is no sheen or shimmer in this lip stain and it looks perfectly matte on the lips. The pigmentation is average and can be built up with 2-3 swipes. The pointed tip of this lip stain help to draw sharp line and helps with precise application. The tip of the sketch is kind of pokey on the skin and does not feel smooth during application, but the lip stain is very drying on the lips. So, it is important to deeply nourish the lips. I apply a good lip balm underneath this lip stain. The color settles into the fine lines of the lips and clings to the dry patches of the lips badly. It is smudge proof, transfer proof and waterproof upto some extent. The biggest disappointment is that the lip stain dries out with two-three uses.

The lasting power is around 2-3 hours and fades away with heavy meals. Though, it small sips of water, but it does not last any meal. To get rid of the stains of the lip stain completely, a good makeup remover is required. Overall, it is a good product.
