Today, I would be reviewing another variant of The Face Shop’s masks from the Bio Cell range. The Bio Cell range caters to specific skin needs and I have loved trying each one of them. To know more about this Bio Cell Firming Face Mask and how it fared for me, read on further.

How To Use:
Cleanse and tone face. Remove mask from package and unfold. Peel off protective sheet on one side of mask. Place mask on face with the other protective sheet on the outside. Remove remaining protective sheet. Remove mask after ten to twenty minutes and gently pat to promote absorption of remaining serum.

My Experience with The Face Shop Bio Cell Firming Face Mask:

This sheet mask comes in a white cover with pretty pink pattern of DNA over it, which I think lends it a scientific feel. The front has some basic information, whereas the back has illustrations for usage, ingredients, price etc. The Face Shop also has a firming mask from the Solution range, which is affordable compared to the Bio Cell range.

As all other masks from the Bio Cell range, this mask comes in between two blue mesh sheets. The actual mask is very delicate as it is made of coconut gel, and it is difficult to get hold of it without damaging it or folding it on itself. The sheet mask is not dripping with serum once it is taken out of the pack. It does not have a particularly strong fragrance.

This mask is formulated with collagen, a biomolecule found naturally in the skin. It makes our skin elastic and bouncy, as well as acts as a barrier to the skin. This mask does a great job of revitalizing and rejuvenating the skin. I like to apply this mask at night and leave it on for 20 to 25 minutes.

Later, I remove the mask and pat in the additional serum. Without using anything else on my face, I go to sleep. In the morning, my face looks plump and hydrated. Although, I feel all masks from this range seem to have more or less the same effect. I did not see a visible lifted or firmed look. Perhaps repeated usage of the same mask will ensure the firming and lifting effect.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend The Face Shop Bio Cell Firming Face Mask?
I am not really sure as the same mask from the Solution range seems to have the same effect at half the price. This is a good mask for plumping the skin and making it look less tired.
