I recently came across this range of sheet masks from Missha. Missha is a cruelty-free Korean brand skincare and makeup brand. Here, I am going to review the variant “Firming Care” from this range. Read on for more details on it.
Price:
160 INR approximately/2.50 USD.
Product Description:
- Highly adhesive mask, with strong brew of rooibos ingredients to help provide elasticity, making skin smooth and firm.
- Protein, Iron and Calcium content in Rooibos tea smooth and firm skin. Natural-derived cellulose sheet mask which is extremely thin and transparent, even letting the skin show through.
- Highly adhesive mask with soft texture as silk.
My Experience with Missha Herb in Nude Sheet Mask Firming Care:
The very first thing that intrigued me on seeing the packaging was – Rooibos tea! I have never heard about it. My knowledge in tea was not that great to begin with, but it was an interesting addition to the vocabulary. Rooibos tea is famous in South Africa, though according to Wikipedia, it is consumed worldwide, and also low in caffeine, and tannin, while compensating with other things. According to Missha, this tea supposedly firms up the skin.
Coming to the packaging, it is a generic matte sheet mask packaging, nothing special in it. The miracle starts only after opening the packaging.
I usually refrigerate my sheet masks, but I refrained from doing because I wanted to know how it felt without that. On opening the package, I could see the mask with abundant serum. The packet was full of serum, and the mask was literally floating in it.
Also, the smell was heavenly. I could not exactly place what it smelled like, but it could be the aroma of a freshly-made juice of some fruit with a wonderful smell. If you are not comfortable with different aromas, may be those people could keep away from this range because they are so aromatic!
On taking the mask out, the serum was dripping. It dripped on the floor, my dress, and everywhere. I was taken back at how much serum it dripped. May be refrigerating would have solved the problem, but then, I placed it over my face after the usual routine of cleansing, toning.
The mask felt cool and it was so thin, but the density didn’t not cause any problems while placing it on my face. The fit was perfect, so perfect that I kept on looking at the ghastly-masked face on the mirror! That is when I understood why they have them named as n*de sheet masks. They stay well to their name.
After a period of 20 minutes, I removed the mask. I could see that the serum was still on my face, and it had not dried. I gently tapped for it to get absorbed.
My face looked fresh, as if I had had a complete and thorough facial. It felt soft to touch, and then the usual effect of all the sheet masks – the glow! Overall, it was a very good mask.
Pros of Missha Herb in Nude Sheet Mask Firming Care:
- Imparts glow to the skin.
- Improves skin tone.
- Gives a spa-like feel at home.
- Easy to use.
- Affordable, doesn’t burn your pocket.
- Plenty of serum!
- Lovely smell.
Cons of Missha Herb in Nude Sheet Mask Firming Care:
- Only one, and that would be – the serum was dripping, like a waterfall! But refrigerating would solve it.
IMBB Rating:
4.8/5
