My Experience with Kiko Milano Precision Eye Pencil 300 Black:
The Eye pencil comes in a black cardboard case. I like the fact that they are packed so well. It has some basic information on the box. The pencil is present in the box. There are six shades available and I picked up black because I wanted a pencil for tight lining as I am skipping my eyeliners these days. The pencil is silver in color and the bottom has the color of the pencil. The aluminum like metal cap fits well to the pencil. There is some basic information on the pencil. The pencil is very sleek and travel friendly.
The shelf life of the pencil is 24 months which is pretty decent. One of the first thing you notice when you are pulling out the pencil, is the wood smell! The pencil is made with real wood and there is that dark wood smell and I love the smell! The pencil is pretty small but it is very easy to hold and allows to draw precise lines. The pencil is easy to sharp. The lead is not very delicate and it doesn’t break off while sharpening but you should use an eye pencil sharpener over the traditional pencil sharpener.
The eye pencil can be used to draw very precise lines and it glides smoothly. It doesn’t pull the skin and is very delicate. However, it is a bit difficult to draw even, single line. You need to connect the line. I tried using the pencil for a single line and you can clearly see that in the eye swatch. The texture is pretty smooth and creamy application makes it easier to smudge to create Smokey lines.
The product is pretty pigmented and you can build up the color to intensify the black. The product doesn’t cause any irritation and is suitable for sensitive skin. The product is waterproof and smudge proof. Once you let it settle a bit, it cannot be smudged. I love this property of the eye pencil. I have to really rub hard to get the color off. I usually have a tendency to keep touching my eyes and with normal kajal, I always end up with raccoon eyes! Even though this spreads over period of time, it doesn’t create black mess everywhere!
The product stays for around 2-3 hours on my water lines and for more than 6-7 hours on my lids. I have oily lids and this duration is fine with me. I haven’t tried it with a primer or foundation and I use it on moisturized eyes. The product fades evenly. It can easily be removed with oil and face wash or a good makeup remover. I use Balea eye makeup remover to get the color off. I like the pencil for what it offers. I use it only for tight-lining my eyes and I am really happy with the results.
So, summing up:
