I am a huge fan of lipsticks. I own quite a few conventional lipsticks but realized that I have no lip crayon in my collection. So, here is the review of my first ever lip crayon.

My Experience with Yves Rocher Radiant Lip Crayon Rouge Bordeaux:

This range exists for a few years now but I tried it recently. The lip crayon comes in a fat plastic packaging. The crayon has a secure transparent cover on the outside, which keeps the product safe as you cannot swatch it at the counter. Hence, you can be sure that no one has swatched the product before you.

The crayon has a plastic lid which is secure and has a good quality. It fits the crayon well, and even after many uses, it does not become loose. The crayon itself is color-coded, which makes it easy to spot in the stash. I like this idea! Color-coded packaging really makes picking up the right lipstick easier, especially if you have many of them.

The lipstick itself is retractable. One does not need to sharpen it with a sharpener. We all know how much product is wasted when we sharpen and I prefer such retractable ones.The product is more like a lip care with a creamy texture and slightly higher colour payoff. The consistency of the product is like a lip care too.

It glides smoothly on the lips and imparts colour to the lips. The product also leads to supple lips. Who does not prefer lip caring products? There is shimmer in the product but not out bursting. It makes a perfect wear for evening or night parties. The colour is not a nude shade but a shade of magenta. It looks lovely on Indian skin tones.

As the name describes the color is close to red wine but when applied on lips that payoff is not so intense. The lips look more like tinted.The product lasts for 3 to 4 hours. It does get transferred easily while eating or drinking. I prefer to carry it in my bag whenever I wear it. It’s very easy to reapply all just touch ups. It’s so small that it fits in clutches too. Overall it’s a good product!

I would recommend it to ladies who are not so comfortable with lipsticks and would prefer tinted balm. It works great as a tinted balm.
