Today, Makeup Geek Pointed Crease Brush is up for review 🙂
Product Claims:
Much like its siblings in the crease brush family (Small Crease and Crease Brush) this brush works well for adding color to the natural crease of the eye, and blending it out. Slightly larger in size, with a pointed tip, this brush covers more area in one swipe. The pointed tip of the brush will help prevent over blending in cut crease looks. Our new design features a bronze gunmetal ferrule, and an espresso tinted handle with a beautiful pearl finish for a sleek and elegant look. The bristles include all synthetic fibers for a cruelty free (& guilt free) makeup application!

I picked up this brush while I was in London along with some of the eyeshadows from Makeup Geek. It’s the only brush I have from Makeup Geek and I am so disappointed with this one. It’s a dome-shaped, pointed crease brush. The shape is amazing. The pointy crease really lets you to get to the very precise crease work. And if you are a fan of doing cut crease eye makeup looks, a brush like this is totally up your alley.
The brush is sandy black in color. The ferrule is in gunmetal shade. And the overall brush is lightweight and feels of good quality. But the bristles..they are scratchy. I like to give my brushes a long time before I review them because I like to see how they do with the wash and the performance over a period of time. This one just did not work from day one itself. Sometimes brushes get softer after a few washes, this one only got worse. It is a harsh brush for your delicate eyelid skin.
This brush by Makeup Geek just sits pretty in my brush holder. I literally dread using it. I don’t even have the most sensitive eyelids but someone who does should actually stay miles away from this one. I don’t think I would be purchasing any brushes from Makeup Geek from now on..
