Natchez, MS Indian Wedding by Midnight Chai Photography
Welcome back to Punarvi and Arjit’s Mississippi meets Moghul wedding extravaganza! For their ceremony, the dynamic duo transported their guests back in time at the idyllic Dunleith Mansion. Punarvi was a sight to be behold in a crimson lehenga she designed herself. Every part of her look was painstakingly developed, including the intricate embroidery that incorporated the couple's wedding logo of clocks. As an homage to her mother, Punarvi made a heart out of her mother’s wedding saree and had it stitched on the inside of her blouse so it sat atop her heart, where only she could see it. So precious! The ceremony site was beautifully decorated with an abundance of red roses and hydrangeas by the design aficionados at Decor One by Nalini. As Punarvi made her entrance in a vintage two-tone Rolls Royce alongside her brother, sitar and tabla players added to the regal ambiance of the rituals. After the couple said “I do,” long tables were dressed in scarlet linens with arrangements of roses and hydrangeas for the post-ceremony luncheon. Laid out among the greenery were crystal chandeliers, custom pocket watches, and antique keys hung from the trees. Guests were thrilled to celebrate the beloved, newly minted Mr. and Mrs. in such a magical setting. We’re exhausted just thinking about this whirlwind weekend filled to the brim with special events! Kudos to the planning and design team from Electric Karma - East Coast for making sure each and every moment was seamlessly orchestrated. “We are so glad we had the wedding in Natchez,” says Punarvi. “It was the perfect opportunity to gather our family and friends for a few days of fun and bonding, and was truly a unique and charming experience with the people we love most.” Maharanis, hurry over to the full gallery by Midnight Chai Photography for all the wedding inspo you’ll ever need!
