Recently, I did a small haul from “Makeup Revolution “ and got quite a few products. I had wanted to try their “Chocolate” palette for so long and decided to give it a try. Today, I am going to talk about “I Heart Makeup Salted Caramel Palette.”

My Experience with Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup I Love Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette Salted Caramel:

The packaging of this palette is gorgeous; there is an outer plastic transparent box with the product details and the box holds the melted chocolate palette. The palette has a melting chocolate design on the top which is just adorable.

There is a huge mirror inside and there is also a sponge tip applicator provided. They have also included a plastic sheet containing all the shade names. I would have loved it more if the shade names were present on the palette itself .I love the packaging, it is quite sturdy and cute. One more thing, this palette smells amazing, just like salted caramel! Overall, the packaging, the look, and the feel of this palete is just “wow!”

Describing the shades in details:
This palette is a dupe for Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Palette ,and they have done a exceptional job in recreating the shades as such. There are totally 16 shades in the palette and it leans towards warmer side. I love the colors in this palette, it is a mix of shimmer and mattes.

Delicious:  This is a matte cream shade, perfect for base. It blends well and doesn’t feel powdery.

Tempt:  It looks like a matte black color but there are some subtle shimmer particle in there which you can notice only when you observe it closely, but when blended, it looks like a matte shade. This is a perfect shade for lining the lash line.

Heavenly:  Heavenly is a pinky peach matte shade, perfect for crease and lid.

Drizzle:  This is a matte chocolate brown shade, I like this shade very much. It is a beautiful crease shade. Though this shade blends well, it has a lot of fallout.

Enjoy:  Dark grey brown shade which looks more like a mild semi-shimmery matte shade.
Choc:  This is a semi0shimmery matte brown shade, this is also a beautiful shade.

Cake:  Cake is a baby pink semi-shimmery shade, this is the worst shade in the palette. There is something wrong with this one – it’s flaky, powdery, and doesn’t blend well.
Perfect:  Medium matte grey-brown shade.
Crunch:  OMG ,what should I tell about this beauty – it is one of the most gorgeous shades in the palette .It is a perfect shimmery turquoise shade, I am really astonished on how I love this color as I am more of a neutral eyeshadow person. This color looks beautiful and performs so well. I have used this shade on my EOTD below.

Sweet:  This is another one of my favorites, a perfect matte ginger orange shade.
Fudge:  A beautiful shimmery golden coppery shade.
Salted:  This is another gorgeous brown-bronze shade.
Candy:  Candy is a matte medium brown color.

Caramel:  Proper shimmery golden shade.
Spoon:  Pretty shimmery rose gold shade.
Yum:  Yum is a shimmery cream shade, perfect for inner corners and brow bone highlight.

Formula:  These shades are so pigmented, especially for the price. They’re easy to work with and blend like high-end shadows. The color payoff is so good, a single swipe gives maximum color. The shadows are so smooth and doesn’t feel powdery at all. And to my surprise, there were no fallouts for one particular shade. This is a great feature, especially for a drugstore palette.

Staying Power:  These shadows last all day, solid 8 hours even without a eyeshadow primer. With no major creasing and with a primer, I am sure they will stay on forever. I am really impressed with this palette. Even though it’s a dupe, I think they have made it perfect. The packaging, fragrance, colors ,formula and everything stands out in this product and I am in love. You can see that clearly in my EOTD, I havestepped out of my comfort zone and tried a bright shade as I was just bowled down by its quality .I am not a pro in eyeshadows, so please do forgive my mistakes in the EOTD and do give me your feedback

• The applicator could have been better, not really a con though.

Though I am in love with this palette ,I think this will last longer, but I will surely try the other palettes from this line. Friends, you can give this product a try ,it is an wonderful affordable option, it will be treat for makeup lovers.
