Hello everybody,
Today, I am here to share my views about Jo Malone London Red Roses Cologne. A beautiful floral fragrance made from a blend of seven exquisite roses, the queen of flowers. To know more about this beautiful fragrance, kindly read on.
Price: $130 for 100ml
Product Description:
The essence of modern romance. Inspired by a voluptuous blend of seven of the world’s most exquisite roses. With crushed violet leaves and a hint of lemon, it unfolds like a bouquet of freshly cut flowers. Clear and romantic.
Notes:
Top: Lemon. Citrus-fresh, it opens the fragrance with zesty brightness.
Middle: Red roses accord / Scarlet velvet rose. An accord inspired by seven of the world’s most exquisite roses. The varied qualities of these roses, with facets that range from fruity and citrusy to green and spicy, create an outstanding bouquet with a rich, velvety character.
Base: Honeycomb. This deep, honeyed note with its smooth, rich accents of beeswax, brings an addictive sweetness to the fragrance.

My Experience with Jo Malone London Red Roses Cologne:
Packaging: Rosy pink colored cologne is packaged in a rectangular shaped, transparent glass bottle which has a chrome colored, round shaped cap. Packaging is adorable and travel-friendly. Available in 30ml and 100ml spray bottle. I picked the 100ml, which is economically priced compared to the cost of 30ml. I usually try testers and samples, but in an instant, I bought it.
Floral fragrances are my weakness and I love experimenting with them, especially, when it comes to rose, jasmine or peony. This floral fragrance is made from a voluptuous blend of seven world’s exquisite roses, along with flirty notes of violet leaves, hint of citrusy lemon and addictive sweetness of honeycomb. This cologne, when worn on my wrist pulse, smells very sweet.
Since it’s a cologne, when sprayed, all notes are sensed at a go. I am not able to sense or differentiate the notes. This cologne when sprayed fills the air with rose accord notes, sweetened by the honeycomb notes which linger on. I am unable to sense the citrusy lemon. It’s a lovely scent, however, it’s a bit sweet for my taste of floral fragrance. I wear it on my pulse points and outfits.
Lasting power on pulse points is six hours without sweating or washing. On outfits, it last till next morning. However, when I sweat a lot and have a busy day, lasting power is four hours on pulse points and six hours on outfits. Silage is mediocre. I had bought this fragrance last year and I am glad and surprised, in spite of the fact, it does not appeal me much, I have used it so much.
It does have a beautiful rosy scent; the only con is that it’s a bit sweet and heavy for my taste. I prefer perfumes which are not so sweet to wear on my pulse points. I spray it on my outfits and avoid using it on my pulse points. I have worn it on normal days and on special occasions and sometimes for evening outings. This scent can be worn throughout the year, be it any season, even though it’s a fragrance very appropriate to wear during hot summers. I have paid my tribute to the queen of flowers; by clicking pictures of this cologne amidst red roses. Hope you all like it!
