Hi ladies,
If you have read my previous reviews, you would have noticed my obsession with ColourPop products. I have already reviewed some lip products from this brand (Kae, Date Mate), but this is my first ever eyeshadow from ColourPop. Cream shadows are available in an abundance of kickass shades in both matte and glitter finish. Read on to find more about the shade “Brady.”
Product Description:
Our revolutionary creme-powder eye shadow, famous for its unique bouncy texture, delivers bold matte colour in one swipe without creasing, fading or fallout.
Price:
$5.00 USD for 0.07 oz.
My Experience with ColourPop Super Shock Shadow Brady:
This eyeshadow comes in a white cardboard box with the name of the products and other details mentioned on the box. The cream shadow is packed in a cute white pan that has a transparent screw lid that makes it easy to identify the shade.
The staying power of this cream shadow is incredible. I apply it in the morning and it stays the entire day, without fading even without an eye primer.
The texture is totally water/sweat proof. This is a completely matte, shimmer-free formula. It is creamy to touch and glides on with ease when used with fingertips.
Before I start talking about this product, I must tell you that this is my first ever cream eyeshadow. When I was using it for the first time, I was constantly swiping my eyeshadow blending brush loaded with the product over my crease, and obviously, there was no sign of pigmentation. I started whining about its quality as I wasn’t aware of the do’s and don’ts of using a creamy shadow. So the best part is that you don’t need any brushes to achieve perfect makeup looks with this shadow.
“Brady” is described as a soft matte dusty rose shade. The color appears dark, but it comes off pinky-purple after application. The shade is suitable for light to medium skin tones with cool undertones. The color can be used as a transition shade on the crease or on the eyelid. The color looks nice even if used alone, which makes it perfect for everyday use.
For maximum coverage, use fingertips to tap the shadow on the eyelid and there is no fallout issue like powder shadows. It delivers full color payoff in two strokes.
The buttery texture glides smoothly like a cream and one perk of using this cream shadow is that it can also be used as a blush. Oh yes! I’m pretty much serious right now. What else do we makeup lovers need in such an affordable price?
