Hello, everyone!
Today’s review is about Zoeva 134 Luxe Powder Fusion.
Price: €11 or Rs 720
Product Description:
The 134 Luxe Powder Fusion blends various eyeshadow shades completely seamlessly together in no time, creating professional, invisible transitions and beautiful soft ombre effects. The brush is also ideally suitable for applying highlighter, powder or contouring products.
Apply a light color on the entire eyelid to get a good canvas to further work on and warm up your crease by blending in a slightly darker color. Make your eyes appear bigger by darkening the outer corner and adding a highlighting color in the inner corner to visually open up your eyes. In the end, make sure you blend everything together to prevent any harsh lines.
Ingredients:
Hair: natural-synthetic hair blend
My Experience with Zoeva 134 Luxe Powder Fusion:
The packaging of Zoeva brushes is very typical. It comes in a re-sealable plastic pouch, which is not fancy at all. It is black and gray in color. One can see the product through the transparent face of the pouch. The pouch is very convenient to travel with. So, I have saved them all. The brush has white bristles and has a circular top. The bristles are very soft and do not prick.
We all know how important blending is. Especially for eye makeup, blending is the key. When I purchased this brush, I read that it was mainly an eyeshadow brush. That was the main reason I got it for. But, after trying to use it as an eyeshadow blending brush, I realized that it’s too big for my small eyelid. I had to make the best use of the beautiful soft brush, and I found that it can be used for other powder products too.
This brush is suitable for contouring, applying highlighter or translucent powder. I have not yet explored it to highlight and contour, and have used it for loose powder application. I apply loose powder during my everyday makeup, especially under my eyes where it gets oily. I find that Kabuki brush is a little too big to reach the under-eye area and I have had some accidents trying to use kabuki too close to the eye. Hence, I was using my finger but now I have found a wonderful solution.
This brush works very well with powder products and its size is just right to set loose powder under the eyes or on the bridge of the nose. You can also apply all over the face but it takes time. I set my concealer and foundation with loose powder and I only use this brush for that. I am sure it will work great if you are working with baking technique.
The bristles of the brush are a mix of synthetic and animal hair. I, any day, prefer synthetic hair as it is easy to maintain and also it does not cause any allergies. But till now, I have been washing it with normal shampoo and have faced no problems like shedding or tweaking. The brush also dries up quickly as the bristles are not too tightly packed, and it’s not a huge brush.
Pros of Zoeva 134 Luxe Powder Fusion:
– Multipurpose brush (for blending eyeshadow, as a highlighter and contour brush, and for setting loose powder)
– To-the-point packaging
– Packaging can be reused during traveling
– No shedding of bristles
– Retains color after wash
– Mid-range price
Cons of Zoeva 134 Luxe Powder Fusion:
– Too large to blend eyeshadow, if you have smaller eyelids
– Bristles are partially animal hair
IMBB Rating: 4.9/5
Would I Recommend Zoeva 134 Luxe Powder Fusion?
If you are looking for a multipurpose brush which can work as a highlighter brush + contour brush + brush for setting loose powder, then go for it. It’s a mid-priced brush and will surely be useful in one way or the other. If you want to create an ombre effect on eyes, then this will work too.
