Hello beauties!
Summer is all about pretty hairstyles. I was not much into hair styling but now, thanks to IMBB, I’ve learned a few hairstyles and love creating new ones. This is a very cute knot hairstyle that’s perfect for summers. This is a day to night hairstyle, now let’s check out how it can be created!
Step 1:
I have straight hair but I created this look after curling it with foam rods. You can check out the full tutorial HERE.
Step 2:
First, part your hair. I prefer to part my hair on the left side but you can choose the side you like. Now, leave your bangs and take a small section of the front hair.
Step 3:
Twist this section nicely and slightly pull the edges of the twists to make your hair look fuller. Then, wrap it around the back and nicely secure the section to pin it up.
Step 4:
Repeat on the left side and twist the hair section nicely. Secure it with a bobby pin at the back. Once again tug the section to make it look a little loose and fuller.
Step 5:
Now come back to the right section. Take a small section of hair, just bellow the first twisted section. Repeat step 3. Secure the section just below the previous one.
Step 6:
Repeat the same on the left side. Secure your hair again.
Step 7:
Once you are done with two twisted knots from both sides, again slightly pull up the twisted section. You can skip this section if you have layers.
Step 8:
Now, coming to the lower section of the hair. You’ve to take two sections from both sides of your hair and create a small ponytail just bellow those knots. Now, secure with a black elastic.
Step 9:
Simply make a partition on the upper area of your ponytail and twist down the ponytail through that parted area.
Step 10:
Create another ponytail just below the previous one and again twist it down.
Step 11:
Once you are down with your hairstyle, slightly pull the knot to get a voluminous look. Apply some setting spray to set everything well.
Step 12:
You can add some hair accessories or dolled up hair pins to enhance the overall look.
Here is my complete look. If you have short bangs then you can leave it. Also, please excuse my hair color as it’s looking different due to variation in light. I actually have natural reddish brown hair, and under sunlight it looks quite burgundy. Anyway, hope you all enjoyed this beautiful summer look. It is super easy to create and perfect for a dates and even weddings.
