Ola, beauties!
I have recently purchased a few colored eyeliners from NYX and all the shades are super bright and funky. So, I just wanted to try a cute funky look with these liners, and I am super happy with my look. Today, I did a very cute cartoon eyeliner look. Actually, cartoon eyeliner look is quite famous on the social media, and I actually like such funky, creative makeup looks, and so, I gave it a try in my own way and I absolutely love this look. Though it is not such a wearable look, you can definitely try it for a theme party or you can go only for this liner. But, this look is not for our daily purposes, so don’t judge it like that. It’s a fun look which definitely adds some drama, and it brought me to the Disneyland. Now, let’s get into the step-by-step tutorial!
Eyes:
Step 1: First, I applied a concealer on my upper lid and set it with a compact, and then, with a small tip brush, I applied some rose gold shadow on the inner corners to highlight that area.
Step 2: Next, I used a matte mauve eyeshadow on the crease area to define my eyes well, and then, used a maroonish brown shade over it. I applied this shade very lightly; it gives a little deeper look to my eyes. Then, I blended it with a blending brush to give it a smooth finish.
Step 3: Next, I lined my eyes with a baby pink liner. I created a very simple winged liner with it.
Step 4: Now, with the black liner, I just bordered the pink winged liner. I started from the extreme end of the pink liner and drew a very thin border line around the outer winged line.
Step 5: I, then, extended that black border line to the inner corners of the eyes. I didn’t overlap the pink line; I just tried to create a thin line just above the pink liner. Once, I bordered the pink liner, I extended it little to the corners and made it a little thick.
Step 6: After that, I used a matte black shadow on my lower lash lines and created a smoky line. I also applied a nude white liner on my waterline to make my eyes look bigger.
Step 7: Next, I curled my lashes and applied lots of mascara on my both upper and lower lashes. Today, I applied some extra coats of mascara to give my lashes an extra volume.
Step 8: Once, the black mascara dried up completely, I used that same pink liner and applied that liner on my lower lashes like a mascara. It gave a nice funky look to my lashes.
Step 9: Finally, I filled up my eyebrows with a brown eyebrow pencil and applied some highlighter just below my brows.
Face:
After completing my eye makeup, I did my face makeup. First, I used a concealer on my undereye area, and blended it nicely with a beauty sponge. Then, I applied a foundation and blended it with the same sponge. I wanted to keep it glowing, but as I have super oily skin, I applied some compact powder on my T-zone. Next, I used a light bronzer to contour my nose and as usual, I skipped that heavy contour look and used a nice pink blush on my cheeks. Next, I applied a beige highlighter on the highest parts of my face. Finally, I spray some face mist to set everything. Here, I used that same pink liner and created three dots on my upper part of the cheeks.
Lips:
Today, I did ombre lip makeup with two liquid matte lipsticks. First, I applied a dark wine shade on my lips normally. Then, I used a bright coral orange lipstick in the middle of both my lips and blended both the shades well. After that, I created a fake lip ring with that pink liner and put a dot just below my lips.
Here is my final look. It definitely looks cute and funny, and I enjoyed a lot during this tutorial. There is a nice freshness to it, which can go with any pretty outfit. I added a Mini Mouse headband which looked super cute with this makeup. I hope you enjoy this tutorial!
