Product Description:
L’Oreal Makeup Designer/ Paris unveils a new line of lip gradation cushions infused with tints from the most refined blend of precious flowers – Blossom Tint Caresse. Nail the ombré trend on your lips using its expert applicator with soft cushion tip that lightly blends in the colour. The designer sponge tip is pointed at the end for precise application, ideal for shaping and smudging.
Developed with a mix of nourishing flower oils and powdered pigments, the Blossom Tint Caresse delivers vibrant colour payoff in a soft, velvety matte finish that feels weightless and is non-drying on the lips. My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Tint Caresse Lipstick Peach Blossom:
Let’s begin with packaging of the product as I am head-over-heels in love with the packaging of this product. The lipstick comes in a long cylindrical tube with ombre effect colors on it. The base of the tube is color coded according to the respective shade while the top part has a nice mirror finish. It comes wrapped up in a cellophane paper, which bears entire product-related information on it.
There is a regular screw-on cap rather then a click lock. The shade name is mentioned at the base of the lipstick tube. The lipstick comes with a soft foam applicator having a pointed tip. The sharp pointed tip helps to define the lips nicely. The actual lipstick comes placed inside the cap and has a spring attached to it, so when the cap pushes it towards the applicator closing the applicator picks up the product for use. Overall, the packaging is beautiful, sleek, very innovative and travel friendly as well.
“Peach Blossom” is a beautiful peachy-pink shade. The color is subtle and looks lovely on the lips. It looks so natural and instantly brightens up dull face. It suits my skin tone very well. The shade is light and may wash out deeper complexions. The color is just so beautiful and can be worn during any time of the day. There is no sheen or shimmer in this lipstick and it almost settles down to a powdery matte finish. The shade is decently pigmented and it requires two-three swipes to show up the color properly. Since, this is a lip tint, we cannot really expect high opaque coverage. It is capable of hiding mild lip pigmentation but it does not hide heavily pigmented lips. Overall, the color is easily buildable.
The formula is actually very unique and I have never came across any such formula. The texture is incredibly soft and smooth. It glides on the lips like a dream and does not cause any tug or pull. It goes on so smoothly on the lips and feels super comfortable. The formulation is so lightweight that it almost feels like nothing on the lips. I really love the powder matte finish of this lipstick.
The formula is not drying at all. My lips stay hydrated with this lipstick on my lips, but prepping the lips well is advisable to prevent the lipstick from looking ugly on the lips. The brand claims it to be multi-purpose product. It can be used as a lip color, cheek color and a lip tint as well. I love using it as a cheek color as it is very easy to blend and gives a soft and natural flush of color to the cheeks, but I have not used it as an eyeshadow, so cannot really comment on that. It has a mild fruity fragrance, which is very sweet, refreshing and not bothersome. The color is waterproof and smudgeproof. It does not budge at all. It never settles into the fine lines of the lips. It looks even on the lips and never gets patchy. The formula is transfer-proof up to a great extent.
The lasting power is impressive as well. It lasts on my lips for 5-6 hours with constant sipping of water. It may survive little snacking with mild fading but it gets removed completely from the center after a full heavy meal. It is really easy to remove without leaving any tint behind.
