Hello beauties,
I wanted to try something new and different than my usual makeup looks and then I got the idea to try graphic eye makeup looks. Graphic eye makeup is a new trend and it looks super bold. You can check Rati’s orange and blue graphic eyeliner looks here and here respectively. Today, I did a gorgeous black block eye liner look which looks super dramatic. I have never tried it before but it’s easy to create and quite wearable too. Now, let’s get in to the step-by-step tutorial.
Face makeup:
I did my face makeup first and kept it very simple. I applied cushion foundation and concealed my under eye area and covered up minimal imperfections with a concealer. To set everything well, I applied a compact powder in my under-eye area and T-zone to control shine. I also did my contour to apply a brown natural contour powder. Next, I used a pretty coral pink blush on cheeks and followed with a natural Beige highlighter on the highest parts of my face. I kept it naturally glowing and soft.
Eyes:
Step 1: As I wanted a sharp look, I placed a tape vertically on the outer corner of my eye area, make sure that the tape is not too sticky. Otherwise, it will pull up your face makeup. Now, I used a base transition shade and blended that nicely.
Step 2: Next, I used a black gel eyeliner and created a thick straight line to that tape and goes over the tape also.
Step 3: After one stroke, I made the line thicker. I tried to draw a thick outer corner so that it would look like a block.
Step 4: Next, I removed the tape and got that perfect shape. I also set the liner with a black shadow so that it wouldn’t look that messy.
Step 5: After that, I drew a thin line on my lower lash line and I maintained a gap between my eye line and lash liner, I didn’t join the line with the inner corner. I kept it separate and extended it like a thin winged line.
Step 6: Next to brighten up my eyes, I used a n*de eyeliner on my water line and also filled the gap between my liner and lash line.
Step 7: To finish the look, I applied a matte beige shadow just below my brows and filled my brows. Next, I curled my lashes and applied a mascara that provided the perfect length and volume to the lashes.
Lips:
To make my lips neutral, I applied a pretty peach n*de lipstick.
I hope you like this different block eye makeup. I paired it with a striped top and a black choker.
