Hello, beauties!
Glitter reminds me of our 90s days when we used to be crazy for everything glittery. The trend is back and everyone is trying glittery lips nowadays. Even though I love matte lipsticks, I picked up a pack of glitter to create something different and new. So today, I am going to share a beautiful makeup tutorial which involves pink glitter lips. I created this look with a bold winged eyeliner to keep my eyes natural and so that the focus is mainly on my lips. So, let’s get started with the tutorial.
Face:
I started by doing my face makeup first. For this look, I completely forgot to apply my primer. I only applied an oil-free, gel moisturiser and then applied my foundation, which I dabbed in with a sponge. Next, I concealed my under eye area and hid my spots with the same concealer. To set everything, I used a compact power and blended it well smoothly. After that, I used a light brown bronzer to contour my cheeks, nose and jaw line, and also applied a light pink blush on the cheeks. I smoothly blended my makeup with a blending brush. Next, I applied some highlighter on the highest parts of my face. Since I applied a lot of powder products, I spritz on some face mist and dabbed it to set my makeup and increase its longevity.
Eyes:
Step 1:
For this look, I used very minimal makeup on my eyes to keep the look natural. I used a beige highlighter all over my eyelid and blended it well with a fluffy brush. It just helps to highlight them.
Step 2:
Next, I drew a winged eyeliner with the help of a liquid eyeliner. First, I drew a normal line and then I made that line deeper and thicker by layering it up. Here, I drew a full straight outer line and extended it smoothly. This way, my eyeliner looked very bold and dramatic.
Step 3:
After that, I applied a black kajal on both – my lower lash line and waterline – and merged that kajal with my winged eyeliner to create a thick, dramatic winged eyeliner look. I smudged the lower lash line also and gave it a natural finish.
Step 4:
Next, to complete this look, I curled my lashes and applied mascara on my both upper and lower lash lines. I also filled in my eyebrows with a brown eyebrow pencil.
Lips:
For lips, I used a bright fuchsia pink lip liner to draw my lip line first. Then, I filled my lips completely with the same pencil. This way I got perfectly defined lips. Next, with a lip brush, I applied a glitter primer on the top of my lips. I applied it according to my lip colour and blended well. Now, it’s the time to apply glitter and here I used a beautiful pink glitter, which has a dual shine effect. I applied glitter very slowly on my lips and kept dabbing it with the same brush. Then, I let it dry for a few seconds in order for it to dry fully. If any fallout happens around the lip area then just brush it off, otherwise use a tape to pull glitter out easily and correct the lip line with a compact power.
Here is my final look. It will go nicely with an Indian ethnic dress as well as with a western dress. I added a pair of pompom earrings to make this look more cheerful. Hope you like it.
