Hello, all!
I have tried quite a few eyeliners from various brands, L’Oreal, MAC, Maybelline, Lakme, Revlon, Inglot, Deborah. Ok, that’s it! It would be really unfair if I wouldn’t try one from Sephora. Sometimes gel eyeliners get dry and don’t come out smoothly, but the pen makes it so easy to make winged eyeliners.
Price: $5 for 1ml
Product Description:
An intense, 24-hour felt eyeliner that enables you to draw a long-lasting line in a single stroke.
The precise felt tip and molded non-slip case of this highly pigmented liquid liner allow for easy application in a single stroke. The intense, smooth-finish black formula dries quickly and is smudge proof for extremely long 24-hour wear while remaining easy to remove.
This product is dermatologically and ophthalmologically tested. It is not tested on animals.
Ingredients:
Water, Butylene Glycol, Ci 77266 (Black 2), Styrene/Acrylates/Ammonium Methacrylate Copolymer, Peg-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Coco-Glucoside, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, Sodium Laureth-12 Sulfate, Sodium Benzoate, Ammonium Hydroxide, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate.
My Experience with Sephora Collection Classic Line 24HR Felt Eyeliner:
Packaging: The product comes in a sleek black pen-like packaging, with all the details mentioned on the tube itself. Felt liner defines the eyes without any difficulties in application.
Pigmentation: This eyeliner is fairly pigmented and gives a dark black finish in two swipes.
Formula: A lot of pen tip eyeliners would get dry within a few days, but this eyeliner doesn’t dry up quickly. After application, it quickly dries to a matte finish but isn’t completely transfer or smudge proof. It kind of just rubs off by itself gradually and is definitely not waterproof.
This eyeliner has a matte finish grip which lets me create a precise wing shape. Of course, if you don’t know how to do a perfect cat eye, this eyeliner is a savior for you as the fine tip gives sharpest wings. I was prompted to buy this product for two reasons — the 24-hour claim and easy-to-use felt tip applicator. Previously, I’ve used a similar eyeliner, which is L’oreal Super Liner and I was highly disappointed with its staying power.
As far as this eyeliner is concerned, I love the perfectly defined tip, which gives a medium-dark finish in one swipe that dries to matte in about 15-20 seconds. So, this isn’t the darkest eyeliner in my cache. The formula is not waterproof and breaks down to some extent, which is something I wasn’t expecting from this liner, given the 24-hour claim. It transfers and smudges if you keep touching it, which I usually do. Other than that, it fades on its own and melts and it gets messy around my eyes, which looks hideous. Overall, I’m not very happy with this product. Sorry Sephora, this one failed for me!

No, for both. I need to hunt for a new liquid liner now. There are better drugstore eyeliners available at this price.
