Queens, NY Indian Fusion Wedding by Nidji Photography
When Maharani Aminta and Rohan decided to tie the knot, they wanted to think outside of the box for the wedding venue. Though both are Guyanese Hindus, the couple chose to get married at Jamaica Performing Arts Center, a theater housed in a landmark 1858 First Reformed Dutch Church. On the morning of her big day, the bride was dolled up by Heena Das Beauty who styled the bridal’s hair and Beauty by Tamanna who handled the beauty regimen... The bride enjoyed two separate Indian weddings while donning a gorgeous yellow lengha designed at Kamal Bhai Saree Sangam and a traditional, sweeping lengha from Frontier Bazar. The venue was graciously bathed in luxury by Elegant Floral Design and transmuted The Jamaica Performing Arts Center into a royal oasis. A multifaceted, iron wrought mandap took center stage in the middle of venue with lighting created in house illuminating the room in the most ambiance like vibe.
