Hello all,
I bought a crap ton of sheet masks in a recent haul across various brands. I love Korean skin care, so I picked up a lot of the sheet masks. Today’s review will be on a lemon mask from Missha. Let’s see how it fared for me!
Price:
1-2 USD or 2 Euros. The price varies a lot for these sheet masks.

My Experience with Missha Pure Source Lemon Cell Sheet Mask:
This sheet mask comes in a rather boring packaging. It has a packaging similar to Innisfree sheet masks. It is white coloured packaging with the main ingredient on which the mask is based on the front. I picked up several variants from the “Pure Source” range. It has all the details in English and in Korean (I think so). The packaging is basic and fuss free. It is very thin and safe to travel with.
The mask is a thin cotton mask which is white in colour. The mask is soaked in liquid serum. The serum is slightly thick and sticky. The mask isn’t soaking wet, but has a good amount of moisture to it. The mask is big and hence I have to make slits for it to fit well on face.
I have been using these masks every 3 days or twice a week because it is very relaxing and the easiest way to pamper my skin. I wash my face with a face wash and then use this mask for 30 minutes or until it is semi dry. Then, I take it off and pat the excess serum on my skin and let it remain for another 15 minutes and then I wash my face with plain water, without any face wash. Then, I’ll apply my night cream and doze off to sleep. Sometimes, I’ll use a toner before using the mask or aloe vera gel. I always keep the mask in deep freezer for at least 15 minutes before applying because there’s nothing better than a cool mask after a tiring day of work and travel.
This mask has a pleasant fragrance that doesn’t last longer. The mask sits comfortably on my skin and there is no irritation when I have this mask on, it doesn’t fall off the face as the mask dries. But this mask felt a bit irritating between my brows and chin area, so I just lifted the mask from there and the irritation was gone. It did not break me out though thankfully!
Lemon is a natural exfoliator and after using this mask, my skin felt very smooth and soft, just like my skin feels after using a scrub. It did brighten my skin a little bit and my skin felt hydrated.
These masks give temporary results but that’s okay because I like using masks often anyway. My skin feels instantly refreshed and moisturized. I’ve been using these masks regularly since a long time and I feel it has helped with the dryness. Usually when I use a scrub or face wash, I have to apply lotion, but now I can skip the lotion part and my skin doesn’t feel parched, so yay to that!
