Hello people,
Today’s review will be on a contour stick by MUR. I love MUR as a brand and it makes amazing products at reasonable prices. Let’s see how this contour stick fared for me!
Price:
5 GBP
Product Details:
The One Sculpt Contour Stick is a matte cream contour stick with high impact colour for effortless sculpting and contouring. Use dry for a high intensity colour finish or use wet for a smooth sheer finish. Apply directly to the cheeks and then blend with fingertips or our advanced complexion sponge for a flawless finish.
My Experience with Makeup Revolution The One Sculpt Contour Stick:
This contour stick comes in a black cardboard box. The stick is similarly packaged and is made out of plastic. The black and gold packaging looks really nice. It is slightly difficult to take pictures of the black and gold packaging. The contour sticks swivels up and down very smoothly and the product goes back completely, which I love!
I haven’t tried any creamy contour products before and this Makeup Revolution stick is my first one. The shade that I picked up is “Warm Chocolate Brown” and it suits me nicely. It is a perfect shade for light to medium skin tones. I think it only comes in one shade because the shade name or number isn’t mentioned anywhere on the box or the stick. This shade is bang on when I use it as a cream bronzer, but as a contour, I feel I could have done much better with a slightly darker shade than this. It suits me nicely as is, but just one shade up would have been perfect.
This contour stick is really very creamy and goes on smoothly on the skin. It doesn’t feel heavy at all, the one thing that kept me away from cream-based products like blushes and highlighters etc. I don’t like heavy cream products on my face at all, but this one is a refreshing change. I really like the formula on this one. It is super smooth and creamy, like butter.
It blends away in a jiffy and doesn’t look streaky or muddy on my skin. It doesn’t really require setting with a contour powder if you are indoors, but if you are going outdoors, it might need a light dusting of the powder contour to lock in the product. It is such a user-friendly product!
The staying power on this one is 4-5 hours and hardly requires touching up. You might need to touch up in humid climate though and if you are going to a long function.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Makeup Revolution The One Sculpt Contour Stick?
Yes, I would recommend! It is a great product and works amazingly. As for repurchase, I don’t think I’ll be able to finish this one up because I don’t use a lot of makeup on every day basis. It’s just kajal, lipstick and eyeliner for me!
