Hi everyone,
I have a never ending love for pink lipsticks. So, here I am with another review of my recent purchase – Inglot #239. Inglot has lip shades for every skin tone and occasions. I have two more shades from Inglot – #421 and #401, which are simply incredible in terms of shade, scent, performance and quality. Let’s find out if this one lives up to the expectations.

My Experience with Inglot Lipstick #239:
Packaging: The lipstick comes in a black coloured cardboard box with ingredients, price, shade number, and other details. The lipstick itself comes in a glossy black tube with the usual twist up style. The brand name is written on the tube.
Shade: The shade #239 is a bright pink colour, which is not over the top. In my opinion, this shade will suit a lot of skin tones.
Fragrance: Like all other Inglot Lipsticks, this one has a very pleasant, sweet scent as well. It has a berry-like fragrance, which I love.
Texture: I’m in love with the texture. It is so smooth and creamy and moisturises lips for hours. It gives a glossy finish to the lips.
Pigmentation: The pigmentation is rich and intense, like other Inglot Lipsticks.
Lasting Power: This coral pink shade will stay on your lips for not more than 5 hours. It is always good to wear a liner underneath if you want to enjoy a better-staying power.
Inglot lipstick comes in a solid metal case with a glossy finish that adds a sophisticated look to the packaging. Overall, the packaging is flawless, lightweight, with every detail mentioned on the outer box, including manufacturing and expiry dates. The cap is tight enough to make it perfect for travelling purposes. When you twist open the bullet, the shade looks darker, but it looks quite lighter when you apply it on your lips. The shade #239 is a warm coral pink colour. It isn’t too dark so, I prefer using it during the daytime in this summer. It also looks great with full makeup, when you aren’t in a mood to use your usual matte formula. The texture is lightweight and non-sticky. It gives a soft and supple finish to the lips. Also, the pigmentation is average but gives an opaque coverage in 2-3 strokes. Since it’s a creme finish, it does transfer a lot and doesn’t survive meals. It transfers to my coffee mug most of the times, so I need to reapply it all the time. It is better to apply a lip liner underneath.
Pros of Inglot Lipstick #239:
- The color is neither too subtle nor too loud, hence very easy to carry.
- Gorgeous packaging and well-designed for travelling.
- Doesn’t dry up the lips nor does it bleed.
- Texture is buttery and glides on the lips like a dream.
- The shade is great for everday use.
- Doesn’t feel heavy or sticky on the lips.
- Overwhelming fragrance.
Cons of Inglot Lipstick #239:
- Not completely transferproof and requires constant reapplication.
- Doesn’t give an opaque finish in a single swipe.
- Quite expensive.
- The color will last longer only if you a use lipliner underneath.
Will you Recommend/Repurchase Inglot Lipstick #239?
No. I wouldn’t repurchase or recommend this particular shade, especially because the lasting power is poor and you can find a similar shade at a lesser price. Also, Inglot has better shades with better lasting power, so why not pick something better??
