“Shoes are just a pedestal – what interests me is the power of the Woman wearing them.”
I am posting this outfit again for a few reasons:
- I love it.
- I can wear outfits like this more now that spring is here!
- I am in love with the color of pants and the detail on the top.
- Why not?
I feel like there are times when I find something to wear and I just keep going back to it. This combo is one of those times…I feel like I could wear this multiple times and not feel like I was wearing it out. The only thing I may change up a little are the shoes because there are some times when you just can’t wear high heels – also, it would look really cute with some espadrilles
Choosing the right shoes for a casual outfit (or any outfit for that matter) is just as important as picking out the outfit itself. I promise if you take that extra time to pick out the shoes, the end result will be much more satisfying. I know I have said this before, but if you have a fabulous outfit and you aren’t wearing the right shoes, or you are wearing shoes that are scruffy, not polished or just wrong, it will have a negative impact on the entire outfit. It doesn’t mean you have to wear high heels all the time, but shoes are definitely something that people notice, so it is better if you start to notice your own shoes too. Whether we like it or not, people will draw conclusions about us based on our appearance (including our shoes), so we have to decide what we want that conclusion to be!
For some reason, and maybe you can see this, I just feel happier and more relaxed on a sunny day. Not that I don’t feel stress, but for some reason I am able to handle it much more efficiently. When I sit at my desk working and I look out the window and I see blue skies and sunshine, suddenly my work gets completed faster and I get myself out to meet with clients.
