My Experience with Essence 06 Raspberry Frosting My Must Haves Eyeshadow:
Essence My Must Haves Eyeshadow comes in a cardboard packaging, which has some information on the back. I prefer to keep the cardboard packaging as it ensures that the cap doesn’t open on its own. The eyeshadow itself comes in a black coloured plastic pan with a transparent lid. The lid is a bit flimsy, so it is not suitable for travel purposes.
The Eyeshadow is meant for the palette and not good to carry alone. The shade, “Raspberry Frosting” is a beautiful shimmery pink shade that looks almost like a shimmery cotton candy colour. However, the layer on the eyeshadow is lighter, and when I swatched, it looked like a darker pink shade. I am not sure why there is a layer on the top of the eye shadow.
The eyeshadow has a powdery and soft texture. There is a lot of fallout from the product. The eyeshadow looks pigmented, but when blended, it is hardly visible. I was disappointed with it, but it can be worn as an everyday shade. The product doesn’t last long on the eyelids; it stays for around 3-4 hours after which it completely fades away. Even with a good primer, the colour hardly lasts.
The colour doesn’t settle into the creases on my oily lids, and this is a plus but, when you rub your eyes, the shimmery particles spread all over the face. The eyeshadow doesn’t irritate the eyes, but when I wore it near my waterline, I felt a tingling effect. Overall, this eyeshadow didn’t live up to my expectations.
So, summing up:
Pros of Essence 06 Raspberry Frosting My Must Haves Eyeshadow:

Cons of Essence 06 Raspberry Frosting My Must Haves Eyeshadow:
