My Experience with Boss The Scent for Her by Hugo Boss:

Packaging: The scent arrives in a very elegant glass bottle with a silver top that bears the brand name. The glass bottle and the metal cap are beautifully crafted. This opulent bottle comes packaged in a pink coloured cardboard box, which bears the product details and ingredient list.

Scent: The scent is soft and feminine, but at the same time, there is this sexiness about it. The first whiff of this perfume is really a strong peach fragrance. However, after a few minutes or so, you can smell a delicious concoction of flowers and cocoa too.

The fragrance gives out an impression of class and sophistication. Being an Eau De Parfum, the scent is super long lasting and survives throughout the day on the pulse points. The perfume is quite strong when you spray it, but give it a good 5-7 minutes to settle down, and it settles to a soft fruity kind of fragrance.

In the top note, the fruity and floral, honeyed peach and freesia meet in an exquisite, head-turning combination attracting both protagonists with a sophisticated, yet light and delicate power. Then, the warm and voluptuous heart notes of the oriental flower osmanthus start to reveal themselves. It connects the top and base notes to one another, the light delicate allure evolving into a darker, heady quality. Locked together and powerless to resist, the fragrance unleashes an irresistibly rich base note of roasted cocoa. Overall, it’s a soft fragrance, which is barely noticeable.

Staying Power: I’m really surprised with its staying power. I don’t use scents on my clothes as they are meant to be used on the body only, reason being, the same fragrance smells differently on different bodies. So, on the pulse points, it lasts for 8 hours easily. You can spray it on before leaving for work. Although it lasts longer, still, I wonder why this fragrance is not very noticeable, which is a disappointment.

• Fragrance is not very noticeable.
• Nothing very unique about the fragrance.

No, I wouldn’t repurchase this fragrance as I found it to be a bit mild for my liking. The fragrance is very much feminine. So, if you are looking for a girly sweet fragrance, this might be your cup of tea.
