How a Great Kitchen Almost Got Nancy Meyers into a Car Accident
For Nancy Meyers, a good kitchen is a life or death situation.
The movie producer, writer and director who masterminded The Intern, The Holiday and The Parent Trap admitted on Wednesday that her appreciation for a gorgeous cooking space nearly caused quite the traffic jam.
“I was so interested in the kitchen on the side of this truck I almost got into an accident,” Meyers writes on a post on Instagram.
The ad in question is for Santa Monica design store Snyder Diamond, and showcases a kitchen decked out in Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances that would make any home decorating enthusiast drool.
The see of stainless-steel is just one of the eye-catching aspects of the room. The extravagant number of wall-spanning pantries also serves as a solid excuse to pump the brakes.

This isn’t the first time Meyers has stopped to snap a photo of a space she likes. In January, she shared a snap of her sister’s enviable kitchen, captioning it “My sisters beautiful kitchen. I’ve cleaned all of her closets with her now time to go home.”
The sleek lines and modern cabinetry is not Meyers’ usual California casual fare. We’ll just have to wait for her next rom-com to see if her tastes are shifting.
