Hello IMBBians,
Matt Matt Matt is a range from Essence which includes matte shades. I had picked up two lipsticks from this range. Today’s review is all about Essence Matt Matt Matt Lipstick in the shade “06 Kiss Me If you Can”. Read on to know more about it.

Product Description:
Matt matters! The light, creamy texture of the new lipstick range unites a high colour-dispersion with a matt finish.

My Experience with Essence Matt Matt Matt Lipstick 06 Kiss Me If You Can:
The product comes in a nice silver colored body which is cylindrical and rotating. The cap is red colored and closes with a click. The cap doesn’t open accidentally in the bag. The cap has the logo on the top. The bottom of the body has the shade name on a little sticker and there is an another sticker with other small details of the product. The print fades away and the sticker comes off easily. Package-wise, it is kind of satisfactory!
There are 8 shades available in this range. “Kiss Me If You Can” is a Chilly Red, a red with a blueish tone. It is not very orangey like “Red-y or Not” but, it looks very similar to it. You will find very little difference between the two shades. It is well pigmented and lightens up the face instantly. The shade suits Indian tones very well.
The finish is semi-matte. I expected the color to be completely matte but, this one is really not like that. It doesn’t have a full matte finish. The shade is intensively pigmented and with just one swipe you can get the desired color onto your lips. You can easily build up to a rich color with 2-3 swipes. The lipstick has a very sweet fragrance to it, but this feels very artificial.
The lipstick has a soft texture and creamy consistency. The product is extremely soft on the lips and eases the application. The bullet is pointy now but it will soon wear off and then getting onto the corners with blunt end can be a little difficult. The product doesn’t dry the lips which is great but, applying the lipstick to well exfoliated lips is a must or else, it does cling onto the dryness and settles in between the lines. If not moisturized well, it does feel patchy over the lip dry cracks. The product feels very comfortable on my lips and is very lightweight.
The product is not kiss-proof and does transfer to glasses and spoons but, you can fix this to some extent by applying some loose powder on the lips. On my lips without a lip liner, it went on for around 3-4 hours which is pretty satisfactory for a budget product. The product does smudge and also bleed if you do not use a liner. The product does leave a stain behind. Removal of the lipstick is also easy. You can use any cream based cleanser to get the lipstick off but the stain does last, which is a bummer. The product doesn’t contain parabens and is cruelty-free. So summing up
