OPI Nail Lacquers Reykjavik has all the Hot Spots, Aurora Berry-alis, Less is Norse, Suzi and the Arctic Fox Review
Hey everyone,
OPI is my favorite nail paint brand for the wide variety of shades and the amazing quality. I am reviewing 4 shades namely – Reykjavik has all the hot spots, Aurora berry-alis, less is norse, suzi & the arctic fox. These 4 are part of Iceland collection.
Product Description:
OPI’s heavily-pigmented lacquers are super rich, long-lasting, and chip-resistant – offering an affordable luxury to consumers.
Price:
AED 70 for 4 mini bottles. Each bottle is 3.75 ml.
How to Use It’s always better to use a base coat to keep your nails safe and a top coat to extend the nail paints life.
Ingredients:
Ethyl Acetate, Butyl Acetate, Nitrocellulose, Propyl Acetate, Tosylamide Formaldehyde Resin, Isopropyl Alcohol, Trimethyl Pentanyl Diisobutyrate, Triphenyl Phosphate, Ethyl Tosylamide, Camphor, Stearalkonium Bentonite, Diacetone Alcohol, Stearalkonium Hectorite, Benzophenone 1, Citric Acid, Dimethicone, CI 77120, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), CI 77499, FD&C Yellow 5 Aluminum Lake, FD&C Red 6
Packaging: These are cute little transparent glass bottles with a black cap.
Texture: Nail lacquers are the original nail polish formulas and the texture of these paints are smooth and give an opaque finish in just two coats.
My Experience with OPI Nail Lacquers Reykjavik has all the Hot Spots, Aurora Berry-alis, Less is Norse, Suzi and the Arctic Fox:
Being a nail art freak, I am always looking for new shades to add to my collection. I picked these 4 shades.
Reykjavik has all the Hot Spots: That’s too long for a nail paint name:p This is a dusky mauve nail polish with a shimmering texture. The shimmer is subtle and not overpowering, so you can wear this as an everyday color.
Aurora Berry-alis: This is a beautiful pink berry shade. It’s not a bright pink and it is slightly dusty.
Less is Norse: It’s a dark ice blue color as per OPI. It’s a very unique shade of grey with a dark tone of blues. A very casual color.
Suzi and the Arctic Fox: Seriously what’s with the long names! This is a dark shade with a purple undertone.
These shades are part of the Iceland winter collection and so they are on the dark side. All the 4 shades are opaque and have a beautiful consistency. All the colors are good for casual day wear. It takes minimum 5-10 minutes to dry the nail paints completely. The brushes strokes are smooth, which makes the application easy. Without a top coat, they would stay for 3-4 days and with a top coat, the nail paints don’t chip and stay for a good one week.
Pros of OPI Nail Lacquers Reykjavik has all the Hot Spots, Aurora Berry-alis, Less is Norse, Suzi and the Arctic Fox:
- Doesn’t take much time in drying.
- Shades are very different and rare.
- Smooth brush application.
- Doesn’t chip off quickly.
Cons of OPI Nail Lacquers Reykjavik has all the Hot Spots, Aurora Berry-alis, Less is Norse, Suzi and the Arctic Fox:
- Except the price I can’t think of anything.
IMBB Rating: 5/5
